01. Overview
This Privacy Policy outlines how VEGA-IQ™, a product developed by SCXRPIUS©, collects, processes, and secures your information. Your privacy is a critical component of the system architecture.
02. Data Collection
We collect only the data necessary for academic assessment and system operation:
- Account Data: Name and email address for authentication.
- Academic Input: Exam responses and student numbers submitted for grading.
- System Logs: IP addresses and browser metadata to prevent technical manipulation and prompt injection.
03. Neural Processing & AI Transmission
VEGA-IQ™ utilizes third-party Large Language Model (LLM) APIs to process grading logic. By using the system, you acknowledge:
- Data Transit: Your answers are transmitted to third-party providers (e.g., Google Gemini, OpenAI) for real-time analysis.
- Anonymization: Where technically feasible, personal identifiers are stripped before neural processing occurs.
- Non-Storage: SCXRPIUS© does not authorize third-party providers to use your academic submissions for training their global models.
04. Data Security
All data is encrypted in transit via SSL/TLS protocols. However, let it be acknowledged that no system is 100% secure. SCXRPIUS© provides the platform as-is and is not liable for breaches resulting from third-party infrastructure failures.
05. Data Retention
Academic submissions are stored for the duration of the course or until requested otherwise by the affiliated institution. Account data is retained until the user requests account termination via the system dashboard.
06. User Rights
Users maintain the right to view their stored assessment data and request deletion of their personal account info. Note that deleting data may result in the loss of academic records within the VEGA-IQ™ system.
07. Third-Party Links
The system may contain links to external academic resources or institution portals. SCXRPIUS© is not responsible for the privacy practices of external entities.
08. Policy Amendments
This policy is subject to change at the developer's discretion. Users will be notified of material changes via a system-level broadcast. Continued use signifies acceptance of updated protocols.
09. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the Cyber and Data Protection Act of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Data processing is conducted with intent to respect international privacy standards where applicable.
